Fablab Bratislava at Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (SCSTI)

After one year preparatory work we managed to get some equipment and facilities in cooperation with members of the Association : Institut français in Slovakia, http://www.institutfrancais.com/en , http://ifb.ambafrance-sk.org/ Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information (SCST) http://www.cvtisr.sk/en Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies STU http://www.fiit.stuba.sk/en.html City Council of Bratislava, http://www.bratislava.sk 04/11/2014 at 13:00 we will begin with basic equipment : 2 pieces 3d printers, vinyl cutter and laser cutter and with organizing workshops and seminars. 2015 statistics: more then 2000 visitors more then 500 projects done in FabLab more then 50 workshops, (3D printing - 12, 3D modeling for beginners - 10, Advanced 3D modeling - 1, Arduino workshop - 2, Make your own T-shirt - work with vinyl cutter and Inkscape - 4, Make your own sticker - 1, Lase cutting and engraving - 6, Print your photos on 3D printer - making 3D model from photos - 1, “Another shoe” - making shoes on laser - 1) In december 2015 Fablab Bratislava has moved to new building of Science Park UK http://cusp.uniba.sk/en/ and got another new device.
