Digital Adherence Technologies (99DOTS, smart pillbox, video observed therapy) empower patients to remotely log daily treatment intake, enabling HCW to monitor in real-time & provide targeted support.

As DATs enable remote monitoring of treatment AND provide an interaction pathway between patients & providers, they can be leveraged to continue essential treatment from isolated or home settings. For diseases like TB, daily monitoring at clinics is often the norm, but with the need for social distancing due to that is obviously no longer practicable. DAT can be applied to various treatment needs.
